What other services do you offer?
Vinyl graphics, Banners, Yard Signs, Logo Design, Decals, Stickers, Magnets, Fliers, Printing, Business Cards, and Invitations just to name a few!
Do you offer any ad space on your delivery trailer?
Yes we do! We have a 6x8ft sign that gets a minimum of 4 hours a day on the road for advertising. Call for pricing and further details. 616-951-1359 or info@signs616.com
Who is responsible for getting permits from the city?
Our customers are responsible for obtaining permits but we will most certainly help in getting them if we are asked before delivery.
When is payment due for a portable sign after it is ordered?
We require payment upon delivery

We accept cash, check or credit
How long have you been in business?

Are the portable black signs effective?
Absolutely! The vibrant colors catch the eye from up to a mile away and nearly all of our customers who have tried the portable black signs are still our customers today!
What color letters do you offer?
Pink, Yellow, Green, White and Orange (all Neon)
What types of events are the portable black signs good for?
We can letter up nearly anything but they are great for Specials, Deals, Birthdays, Grad parties, Garage sales, going out of business, grand openings, now hiring, moving signs, new location signs, directional signs, name changes, new management, number change, giveaways just to name a few!
What kind of businesses use your signs?
Some of our customers include Hair Salons, Cell phone companies, restaurants, bars, oil change businesses, car washes, schools and churches as well as general public for birthdays, Graduation parties, or special events!
Do all cities and townships have an enforceable sign ordinance?
Not all cities and townships require permits. Call us for more info or contact your local city/township and inquire!
How long can I rent a sign for?
We rent sign for as long as you would like! Weekly, Monthly and even yearly options are available. It will sometimes depend on city ordinances and if they are enforced.
Do you sell individual lettering?
Yes! Please call for pricing and color availability
Do you charge for design work on banners, yard signs etc.?
We do have a designer that we may employ for prints, banners, yard signs etc. Please inquire for pricing.
Do you offer any other services other than the portable sign rentals?
Absolutely! We print banners, yard signs, vinyl lettering, stickers, magnets, & window graphics just to name a few! We have done invitations, business cards, and inserts as well! If you want it printed, just ask!
Do you customize the portable sign?
Yes! We can even print your logo to add to the sign. Check out our gallery for some examples!
Do you offer discounts if we rent more than one black sign?
Yes! Some discounts are available for multiple signs.
Do you have other sized black signs to choose from to abide by some city ordinances on sized signs?
Yes! we can comply with most size ordinances on black signs
What size are your signs?
32 sqft or 4ft x 8ft
How many letters can I put on my sign?
We have 3 different sized letters- we can offer guidance with verbiage to ensure best exposure.
Do you have lighting to light up signs?
Yes! Lights are available for an extra charge upon request
How much notice do you need to deliver a sign?
At least 24 hours depending on location of delivery
How far do you deliver?
We will go as far as 2 hrs in any directions from Grand Rapids, MI.
Are there any fees for permits or time limits?
Usually yes, it does vary from city to city. We are familiar with most nearby cities but we can assist in getting that info for you as well.
What are the ordinances for portable signs in my area?
Through our lengthy expertise, we have the knowledge of ordinances in many areas. If we are unsure, all we need is the address where sign will be placed and we will help gather the info for you.
Can I change my message on the sign?
You can change the message on your sign at any time. There is a $25 charge for letter changes on weekly rentals. There is 1 free letter change on monthly rentals and yearly rentals.
What file formats do you accept?
The only file types which allow for a 24-hour production time are JPEG, PDF and TIFF file format. Please allow for additional production time if uploading file types other than JPEG, PDF or TIFF. We prefer that you rasterize your image to the proper print size and resolution before you send it to us.
The filetypes we accept are: .EPS, .JPG, .PDF, .PS, .TIF
For cutfiles, we accept: .AI, .EPS, .PDF, .SVG
