Can You Print My ChatGPT Image? What to Know Before You Order a Sign
AI tools like ChatGPT make it easy to come up with a logo or graphic in seconds. We love seeing what our customers create! But when it's time to turn that image into a banner, yard sign, decal or T-shirt, there are a few things worth knowing first.
Why AI images don't always print well
Most AI images are made for screens, not print. They're usually low resolution, so they look fine on your phone but turn blurry or pixelated when blown up to banner size. They're also not vector files. Vector artwork is made of clean lines and shapes that can scale to any size, and that's what we need for cut vinyl lettering and decals. A regular AI image can't be cut. It can only be printed, and only at small sizes.
What we can do
The good news is we can rebuild your image into a file that works. Our in-house designer can redraw it as clean vector artwork, fix the text (AI often gets letters wrong), match your colors, and size it properly for your project. Design fees start at $50 and go up to $175 depending on the work, and we'll always give you a quote before we start.
What to send us
If you have the original files, send the largest version you can. For printing, we accept high-resolution PDF, EPS, TIF or JPG files. For cut vinyl, we need vector files like AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. Not sure what you have? Send it anyway and we'll let you know.
Have an idea, an AI image, or just a sketch on a napkin? Request a quote and we'll help turn it into something you'll be proud to put up.
